World's 100 Largest Yachts 2007 #74: Triple Seven

#74: TRIPLE SEVEN—217'9"

This yacht was a last-minute cancellation at the Monaco Yacht Show last September because she was sold to a new owner, despite being brand-new (guess the first owner got an offer he couldn’t refuse). Her unusual name is the same as her build number, 777; since that combo is considered lucky in Germany and the owners (original and current) liked it, it stuck. The yacht, featuring abundant outdoors spaces and subdued, minimalist interior, was seen in Madeira Island, Portugal, in April and Tenerife, Canary Islands, in May.
