World’s 100 Largest Yachts 2008 #17: Mayan Queen

#17: MAYAN QUEEN—301'8"

The code-named project Safari hit the water in May and should be ready for delivery around the time you're reading this. Through super-sleuthing, we discovered her real name is Mayan Queen, which means her owner is Mexican mining billionaire (and experienced yachtsman) Alberto Baillres. She represents a huge step up from Baillres' previous yacht, a 164-foot Feadship. Blohm + Voss won't reveal any details about the yacht, so no other details are known (for now).

Y: 2008; B: Blohm + Voss, Germany; N: Tim Heywood Designs; H: steel; E: unknown
