Just like Paul Allen’s other yacht Octopus, Tatoosh gets around the world. Last spring she cruised from Tahiti to Mexico before heading across the Atlantic to the Med. She was seen in Gibraltar this spring, leading many yacht spotters to assume at presstime that she’d spend the summer in the Med again.
Wherever she goes, yacht spotters just can’t get enough of her; witness the fact that a photo of her in Cabo San Lucas posted on our forum has been downloaded more than 4,000 times. She’s also attracted attention in traditional media, though not always for happy reasons; earlier this year Allen reportedly fired a handful of crew for testing positive for drugs.
