While yacht-watchers worldwide—including us—expected this yacht to be completed by now, apparently final touches are still being applied to her interior. But when you’re the ruler of Dubai and have a yacht that’s nearly the length of two football fields and 71 feet wide, it takes a lot to fill up each room—and, rumor has it, when you’re picky about the finish work, that eats up time, too. Rumors also abound as to what she features: a squash court, a disco, even a storage area for a submarine. Some folks say she also has a flight deck—yep, deck, not just a measly helipad for touch-and-go operations. If that last one turns out to be true, we’ll take bets Larry Ellison, owner of Rising Sun, will want to take notes so that he can build a yacht to land one of his favorite toys, a Russian MiG.
