America’s 100 Largest Yachts 2006 #58: Beauport
Four million dollars will get you this shippy-looking lady. She was built as a buoy tender and sounding vessel for the Canadian Coast Guard and used solely in fresh water from her launch until 1990. An American decided to convert her into a yacht in 1993, and yet another American has been using her since 1998. Of note is her original wooden ship’s wheel and the ship’s telegraph in the wheelhouse.
