Gary Comer, the founder of clothing company Lands’ End and a passionate adventurer, spent several years cruising everywhere from Alaska to Russia and Papua New Guinea to Japan—even up to the Arctic—aboard a same-named 151-footer. In the process, he hosted several scientists and environmental experts, and learned a lot about global warming. He also learned that he wanted an even larger yacht to do further explorations, and thus he took delivery of this 209-footer over the summer.
