| PMY Tries... 303 Fabric Cleaner
Keeping your boat clean is a never-ending task. The sun and salt water quickly take their toll on finishes and fabrics left unattended.
303 Products, whose line of cleaning aids is recommended by Sunbrella for use on its canvas, offers its Fabric Cleaner, which when used in combination with its High Tech Fabric Guard, is said to help you clean and protect these materials aboard your boat.
This cleaner is a nontoxic biodegradable concentrate that works without soap and rinses residue-free, allowing further applications of Fabric Guard to protect the fabric instead of sitting atop of a soap film. In addition, no dyes or fragrances are used that might stain the material being cleaned. We sent a sample to one of our South Florida-based readers, who reported back excellent results. He said it quickly and easily removed a number of stains that had not responded to other cleaners he used previously.
303 Fabric Cleaner is available at most marine-supply stores. A 32-ounce bottle of approximately 15:1 concentrate costs about $13. —K.K.
