The Netherlands-based Heesen launched another innovative yacht hot on the tails of Air and Satori. The 55-meter (180-foot) Quinta Essentia is the largest launch by the yard to date.
Her exterior paint is classic Awlgrip oyster white with custom metallic dark red, which was mixed to mimic the tones of Montemaggio Merlot and to reflect the owner's love of Tuscan wines. Quinta Essentia's tender is detailed to match and stored in another Heesen first, a floodable tender bay.
Inside, the white and red color scheme continues through the main saloon.
Each of the four guest cabins is styled after an element - earth, wind, fire, or water - and the owner's cabin, the largest on a Heesen yet, synthesizes them all, creating the fifth element, the Quinta Essentia.
Italian interior designer Michela Reverberi, who worked on the project, says, "The theme is integrated in the design thanks to details, colors, patterns which are displayed against an absolute and pure white background. Their presence is subtle and discrete. For the owners’ stateroom I chose the colour silver, which reflects all the other elements, and therefore encompasses them all.”
Also of note, a main deck swimming pool that is filled by a waterfall.
After sea trials, she will be delivered to her owners in May, just in time to enjoy that swimming pool during the Med season.
