Over the last few years, a great number of Superyacht lending companies have sprung as the industry boomed.

One of those is Singer & Friedlander. However, this is a unit of Kaupthing, and anyone with an eye on the news will know that Kaupthing has been seized by regulators in Iceland, and Singer & Friedlander (based in London) went into administration yesterday.

Does anyone have any ideas what consequence these sorts of developments have for yachts that are financed by these institutions?
