I took this pic while walking over the 17th street causeway in Fort Lauderdale of the Shadow boat 'Allure' . It was crazy strange to see that the crew just simply dumped the Hinckley Picnic boat onto the dock for maintenance . I'm really not sure why they refer to this vessel as a shadow boat because she doesn't seem to follow any other . She did have quite a misshap in November at the 'Boy's and Girl's Club Rendevous' at the Fisher Island marina when she struck the Burger 'Ingot' .
The idea of combining volume and performance is about as old as boatbuilding itself. But sometimes the execution just brings the mix to a precise level that will stop you in your tracks. Check out the 26-knot Sunseeker 95, and see how she came about.
