Although this manufacturer specializes mainly in engines for fast-ferry and military applications, it’s interesting to note that Bugatti engines can reportedly run on diesel, biodiesel, or nonflammable cryogenic Liquified Natural Gas. The engines are said to be among the cleanest on the market today, exceeding all IMO and EPA current and future emission requirements.

In addition, the company is working on a patented clean-burn technology that it says will significantly increase power, efficiency, and the time between overhauls.
