Suzuki is introducing its direct-injection, two-stroke, six-cylinder DT225 engine, featuring digital electronic fuel injection and a Microlink Ignition System. Together, according to the company, they constantly adjust the fuel charge and the ignition timing for optimum performance at all speeds. Gravity-fed oil injection delivers the right amount when needed, and an engine-monitoring gauge keeps track of oil flow, engine temperature, and over-rev conditions. In
its four-stroke line, Suzuki has a 140-hp EFI outboard dubbed the DF140
that is available with counter rotation to help minimize the effects of
prop torque and especially when running twin engines at planning speeds.
This in-line four offers sequential multipoint electronic fuel injection.
The Suzuki DF140 weighs in at 421 pounds, and is available in two shaft
sizes, 20 and 25 inches. Phone: (714) 996-7040. www.suzuki.com. | |||||||||||||||
