On a recent vacation to Ireland, managing editor Eileen Mansfield visited The Royal Cork Yacht Club in Crosshaven, County Cork. Founded in 1720 and originally called the The Water Club of the Harbour of Cork, the RCYC is considered to be the oldest yacht club in the world. During Mansfield's trip, the club was preparing for the onslaught of sailors expected for Cork Week, a biannual regatta.
