Despite the creative spelling of the nameboard Voyageur, the Offshore 80 Voyager pictured here-as well as ones under construction-is built to be a traditional intrepid yacht.

If you’re exploring your options for summer charters, consider Big Eagle, which will be in the Med. The 172-footer recently underwent an extensive refit, in which the Asian-inspired interior (including the two full-beam master staterooms) was changed to reflect a more contemporary style, courtesy of Claudette Bonville and Associates. In addition, a six-person Jacuzzi was added to the flying bridge, and the engines were overhauled. To see photos, visit International Yacht Collection’s Web site, www.yachtcollection.com. To inquire about booking a charter, call: (954) 522-2323. ...Crescent Custom Yachts has teamed with the Platinum Yacht division of Allied Richard Bertram for a series of spec yachts. The 115- and 135-footers will be built exclusively for Allied Richard Bertram to market and sell, with the intention of broadening British Columbia-based Crescent’s reach into the global marketplace. The 115, which will be the first one completed, is a raised-pilothouse design, while the 132 is a trideck design; both are being constructed entirely of fiberglass. Expect the 115 to debut at next year’s Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.
