I
probably don’t have to remind you, but I’m so excited that I’m
going to say it anyway: Boating season is just around the corner! For
those of you who will be removing shrink wrap from your boat to start
getting her ready for the water, the REBAG kit by Dr. Shrink can get rid
of that plastic mess in an eco-friendly way.
The kit consists of
a 30"x50" clear plastic bag (which can hold approximately 600
square feet of shrink wrap) with removal directions printed on it, a closure
device for the bag, and a prepaid UPS return label to Dr. Shrink’s
recycling center.
Using it couldn’t
be easier. Just cut off the cover above the perimeter band, stuff the
shrink wrap into the bag, close it with the tie, and attach the label,
and it’s ready to go. (You’ll also need to schedule a UPS pickup
or drop it off.)
The REBAG kit is available
directly from Dr. Shrink and at West Marine stores nationwide. It retails
for less than $20. At such a nominal cost, and since it requires minimal
effort to use, the REBAG is an easy way for any boater to do his or her
part to make boating more eco-friendly.
