Not long ago, a quiet afternoon on the hook meant giving up your air conditioning but little else. Enter tablets, eReaders, and single-cup coffee makers. And running a generator for such light loads is hard on the unit. But fortunately inverter technology has gotten smarter and less expensive these days. In the following piece, I’ll show you two installations, one providing AC to just one circuit onboard and the other powering your whole boat.
