The year is 1981, and this 41-footer has just launched from Heesen’s yard in The Netherlands.

By the mid- to late-1970’s, Striker had expanded its boatbuilding facilities to include shipyards in Valdiva, Chile, Omastrand, Norway, and Masan, Korea. In these photos (circa 1979), the first 70-foot Striker yacht is constructed and launched in Korea.
