Viking Yachts’ director of communications Peter Frederiksen gives Moser (left) a rundown on the coring process. All Vikings use balsa-cored fiberglass throughout and end-grain balsa coring in the decks and other structures.

An overview of the production line shows several battlewagons in various stages of completion. Viking’s “90 Percent Factor” is a guarantee that virtually all components are made on the premises by its 1,200 employees, with the exception of engines and appliances.
