Cakewalk from Derecktor shipyards Page 2

Floor plan for Derecktor's Cakewalk

To make the main-deck’s saloon the perfect place to entertain guests, the galley is located at the forward end (a dumbwaiter allows the chef to easily move food to the other decks). Beyond the galley are four guest staterooms with king beds, two with twins, and one more for a supernumerary. They are all roughly equivalent in size, and each contains a massive picture window.

The owner, on the other hand, shares a deck with no one. On his level is a full-beam stateroom with his and hers heads and gymnasiums. The owner’s saloon has a card table for five and a theater system for watching movies.

Up on the bridge deck you will find the wheelhouse, captain’s cabin, ship’s office, and yet another saloon. And that’s just three decks out of the six! —G.R.
