Sunning yourself in the cockpit and taking a dip in the ocean are just part of a great day on the water. And when the day is done, it's time to hit the shower and get rid of that salty feeling on your skin.

Aqua Lather from California-based Davis Instruments is a low-cost ($4.95 suggested retail for a five-ounce bottle), biodegradable gel that is geared for use to both clean your skin and act as a shampoo. The company claims that Aqua Lather can even be used to wash dishes and clothes. Although Davis is not handing out the secret ingredients, it does claim that the gel easily handles the effects of salt, hard, brackish, and chlorinated waters.
