Cruising the canals and backwaters at night can be a peaceful experience. But when you come back to the marina, it's not always easy to eyeball your boat's slip from a distance. Taylor Made wants to help you nail nighttime docking maneuvers with its MarineGlo glow-in-the-dark dock fenders.

The MarineGlo line includes dock wheels, corner protectors, and straight fenders. Taylor Made says that a "silica-encased strontium luminescent" substance that is imbued in the mold provides the night light. All it takes to get the glow going is exposure to sun or fluorescent light. Taylor Made claims that once primed, the fenders will glow for up to eight hours.

The MarineGlo fenders are available through most marine retailers and have a suggested retail price of $38.50 for a corner fender, $36.77 for a straight fender, and $62.41 for a 12-inch dock wheel.
