Today’s midsize boats feature the latest electronic technologies, high-definition TVs, and watermakers. Yet they don’t have one of the most-used kitchen appliances, the dishwasher, usually because it takes up too much space.
The Vesta DWV303B dishwasher is the perfect solution for such boats. According to its manufacturer, Oregon-based Westland Sales, the Vesta was designed with the traveling lifestyle in mind; it weighs 59 pounds, measures approximately 22"x18", uses just 3.3 gallons of water per cycle, and requires minimal electricity. Yet it’s big enough to wash up to four four-piece place settings and features three wash cycles, two temperature selections, two drying options, and a “Sani” option that heats dishes to a “bacteria-killing 151°F,” according to Westland, making it much more sanitary than conventional hand-washing.
Designed for both countertop and built-in installations, the dishwasher has a suggested retail of $399 and is available at West Marine or directly from Westland Sales.
