Riviera 61 Flybridge Series II
By Capt. Richard Thiel
Viewed from above you can see how Riviera has changed the focus of its successful 61. The cockpit is just as generously sized but, with the optional forward-facing settee, is more attuned to cruising than sportfishing.

The big interior change is the new aft galley that better serves the cockpit.

The forward stateroom has a settee.

With an opening glass aft bulkhead, it’s now easy to serve food to the cockpit.

The enclosed bridge will be as popular as the cockpit for entertaining.

How cool is the optional Al Fresco Mezzanine?

With the helm relatively far forward, the 61’s enclosed bridge offers excellent sightlines.
