A few quick notes about this typhoon
Earlier today, the Philippines were hit by the most powerful typhoon ever recorded, with the U.S. Navy’s Joint Typhoon Warning Center reporting sustained winds of 195 miles an hour with gusts to 235 miles an hour when the storm made landfall. Those numbers put it just above Hurricane Camille, which had wind speeds of 190 miles and hour when it made landfall in the southeast United States in 1969.Read Post
