F&S Boatworks 67' Sportfish
Delaware boatbuilder F&S Boatworks does a lot of things well, but the one thing it prides itself most on is speed. There are plenty of 40-knot boats in the company’s fleet, and now the 67' Sportfish should add to that number—with aplomb. The 67’s twin CAT C32As are said to rocket her across the water at speeds in excess of 50 mph and allow her to cruise at an equally impressive 41.5 mph. What’s more, the 67' is said to have recently handled six-to-eight-foot seas with a 29-knot wind blowing off the Dominican Republic, a feat certainly aided by her variable-deadrise hull.
But speed is only a part of the equation when you’re looking to do some serious fishing. So the 67' Sportfish is outfitted with all sorts of angling goodies that will tilt the table in her crew’s favor. Of note are freezers, a drink chiller, tackle drawers, a fishbox, and fighting chair—and that’s just in her cockpit.
And while she’s all business when it comes to fishing, indoors you’ll find all the luxury you’d expect on a boat of this size and quality, highlighted by etched-glass scenes in the saloon and master. Which is good, because considering how quickly this boat will get you in from the fishing grounds, you’ll have plenty of time for relaxing back at the docks. PMY
