40. GALLANT LADY 172'0"
Jim Moran, who gained fame as the country’s number-one Toyota distributor, has owned this yacht since delivery. Actually, we should say that he and his wife Jan have owned the yacht all that time, as Jan gets just as involved in yacht projects as Jim does. The two have owned literally dozens upon dozens of vessels bearing the same name.

41. REVELATION 172'0"
In mid-September this charter yacht took guests on an unusual trip. They boarded in Tacoma, Washington, and cruised to Whidbey Island, the San Juan Islands, and then Victoria, British Columbia, departing the yacht along the way to visit an assortment of glass-art studios, including that of the world-renown Dale Chihuly.

42. TAIPAN 172'0"
This lady was originally built for the Emir of Bahrain, but under her current ownership she entertains business associates of the owners and charter guests. One great feature is the hydrotherapy room, perfect for soothing aching muscles, whether it’s from paddling the kayaks Taipan totes or working out in the well-equipped gym.

43. BATTERED BULL 170'9"
Battered Bull’s decor, by Bruce Gregga Interiors, reflects a comfortable, warm atmosphere, highlighted by terrific artwork. Equally terrific vistas were on order during explorations of Australia, Papua New Guinea, Micronesia, and Singapore earlier this year.

44. RASSELAS 170'7"
Here’s your chance to own arguably one of the best-maintained yachts around, as Rasselas is for sale for an undisclosed price as of presstime. Her owner has commissioned an even larger yacht.

45. SOLEMATES 170'7"
An active charter yacht that was just made available for sale in July, Solemates gets her name from her owner’s business (shoes, naturally). Her interior looks like that of a fine country home, though the sky lounge departs dramatically from the theme, featuring a lime-green couch. At presstime her price was q30 million, which is about $36 million.

46. KISS THE SKY 170'6"
The owners of this yacht are in the clothing business, so they knew what to look for when it came time to outfit her; she has luxurious fabrics in every room. That will appeal to interested charter parties as well as buyers, since she’s available for both. And the fact that she emerged unscathed from a ferocious storm while crossing the Atlantic two summers ago will reinforce your confidence in her ability to get you where you want to go.

47. DREAM 169'9"
Forget staterooms, Dream has “apartments” on both the main and bridge decks. The VIP suite on the main deck, for example, contains a library with a bar as well as a bedroom equipped with a king-size bed. The master suite is the apartment one deck above, outfitted with a saloon and a dressing room that’s the size of a stateroom on many yachts up to 100 feet LOA.

48. BEAUPORT 168'11"
Beauport was for sale last year, but she’s no longer listed on the brokerage Web site YachtCouncil.com, so we’ve been unable to determine if she changed hands. She’s a converted Canadian Coast Guard vessel.
Y: 1960; B: Davie & Sons, USA; N: Builder; H: Steel; E: 2/640-hp Fairbanks Morses

49. ENTERPRISE V 168'0"
This yacht hosted a fundraiser for North Carolina Congresswoman Sue Myrick during the Republican National Convention in New York in September. Large gatherings aren’t unusual for the crew, as the yacht regularly entertains associates of the Amway Corporation.
